The applications for UP scholarships for the academic year 2021-22 will start from July 20, 2021. As per the time-table released by the UP Government dated July 12, 2021, the applications for UP Pre-Matric and UP Post-Matric scholarships will start from July 20, 2021 and will continue till October 12, 2021 and October 21, 2021 respectively. 

Every year, the Government of Uttar Pradesh announces a number of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for students who are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh state and belong to General, SC, ST, OBC and Minority categories. The applications for these scholarships are made online through a dedicated scholarship portal named ‘SAKSHAM’ (also known as Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System).

Find below the list of scholarships offered by the UP state government – 

• Pre matric Scholarship for ST/SC/General Category – Open for SC/ST/General category students studying in Class 9 and 10.
• Post matric Intermediate Scholarship for ST/SC/General Category – Open for SC/ST/General category students studying in Class 11 and 12.
• Post matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for ST, SC, General Category – Open for SC/ST/General category students studying in graduation or higher level.
• Post matric Other State Scholarship for ST, SC, General Category – Open for SC/ST/General category students who are studying in Class 11 and above at an institution outside the state.
• Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities – Open for minority community students studying in Class 9 and 10.

UP Scholarship 2021-22 – How to Apply?

The students fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for these scholarships online by following the below-given steps –

Step 1: Visit the official website of UP Scholarship Portal.

Step 2: Under the schemes section, select the scholarship to apply for and proceed to register. 

Step 3: Once registered, log in using the registration number and password received on the registered email id and mobile number. 

Step 4: After logging into the user dashboard, proceed to further fill the scholarship application. 

Step 5: Fill in all required details and upload necessary documents. 

Step 6: Submit the application.
