• Click on the WBJEE results link available on the web

• Login using the application number and password

• Upon successful login, the result of WBJEE 2021 will be displayed on the screen

• Download and take a printout of it.

WBJEE Result 2021 – Tie Breaking Procedure

In case two or more candidates have secured the same marks in WBJEE 2021 result then the authorities follow the tie-breaking procedure to allot ranks. The WBJEE tie-breaking procedure is given below.

• Candidates with less collective negative marks in PCM will be given a higher rank.

• If the tie is still not broken, then the candidates with more collective positive marks in PCM will be allotted a higher rank.

• Otherwise, the candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be given a higher rank.

• If the tie still persists, then the candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics and Physics taken together will be given a higher rank.

• Those candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be allotted a higher rank, if the tie still exists.

• If the authorities are still not able to resolve the tie, then the candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.

• If the tie still exists, then the candidates with more positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be allotted a higher rank.

• Candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank if the tie still persists.

• If the tie is still ongoing, the candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions will be allotted a higher rank.

• If the tie still persists, candidates with less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.

• If the authorities are not able to break the tie, the candidates with less negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be allotted a higher rank.

• If all of the above criteria fails to break the tie, then the candidates will be allotted a higher rank on the basis of age. Older candidates will be given higher preference for admission.

WBJEE Results 2021- Important Points to Remember

• The result of WBJEE 2021 will be released on the official website.

• The result will mention candidates’ All India Rank and marks secured by them in total and also individual scores of each subject in WBJEE 2021 rank card.

• Candidates who do not download the score card/ rank card of WBJEE within specified dates will have to pay additional charges for downloading the scorecard.

• Students must keep their results saved with them until the admission process is over.

WBJEE Merit List 2021

Along with the declaration of WBJEE result 2021, the authorities will also release the merit list. Candidates who will be shortlisted will be called to participate in the counselling process. The WBJEE merit list will be formulated based on the candidates marks in each subject and the total marks. The merit list will also be dependent on the category of candidates.

WBJEE 2021 General Merit List (GMR) will be released on the basis of candidate’s scores obtained in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of the entrance examination. Also, a separate merit list will be released for reserved category candidates such as SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank. However, GMR will be applicable for all rounds of counselling and seat allotment.

WBJEE Cutoff 2021

Once the counselling process is over, WBJEEB will release the cutoff of WBJEE 2021 in online mode. WBJEE cut off will consist of the opening and closing ranks within which the participating institutes will offer admission to the candidates. WBJEE 2021 cutoff will be different for various courses and institutes. Also, various factors like the number of candidates, availability of seats, difficulty of exam, etc will be taken into consideration while preparing the WBJEE cutoff 2021.
