About IIT Gandhinagar Summer Research Internship Program
The flagship program aims to recruit highly motivated students to our campus from prestigious colleges around the nation. Undergraduate and graduate students will be able to take part in cutting-edge research projects, get mentorship from IITGN experts, and gain exposure to cutting-edge labs and instrumentation equipment on campus.
With a weekly compensation of Rs. 2000, IIT Gandhinagar began this project-based summer internship program.

Advantages of this program:
- Once the internship is finished, a stipend of Rs. 2000 per week will be provided. The remuneration for initiatives funded by professors, however, can be different.
- The students are responsible for paying any related dorm costs for the summer interns who will be living in residence halls.
- The interns are entitled to a salary and a diploma after completing the internship satisfactorily.
Things to Keep in Mind:
- Applicants must work with the teachers at IITGN. Both the descriptions of the various projects and the list of collaborating academics are suggested reads for candidates.
- Applicants can apply for internships based on their interests and prior experience. Individuals are free to submit applications for positions that have nothing to do with their declared degree specialties.
- Applicants are required to propose their ideas to the institute and submit a report at the conclusion of the term.

Important Notes:
- Throughout the course of the summer vacation at IITGN, the program will last at least 8 weeks.
- Students at a famous Indian institution who are undergraduate or graduate students may be eligible for this program.
