About CF Sparkle
One of Cognizant’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in India is the Cognizant Foundation (CF) India. We are creating a sustainable environment at the nexus of inclusion, technology, and cooperation at Cognizant Foundation India. The Foundation’s programs are focused on two themes: increasing access to high-quality healthcare and creating a more equal society via education and skill development.
Focus areas for CF include advocating for gender equality, holistic child development, and the empowerment of people with disabilities. Since its founding in 2005, the Foundation has carried out more than 500 initiatives in the areas of livelihood, health care, and education, significantly influencing the lives of millions of people throughout India.

About CF Sparkle Scholarship
The Cognizant Foundation launched the CF Sparkle Inclusive Scholarship Program for Higher Studies with the goal of promoting inclusion by assisting deserving transgender, disabled, and female students who hail from low-income families to complete their education and become employable.
Students who are enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) degree program as well as those pursuing a degree or diploma in vocational-technical education, paramedical sciences, or allied health sciences beginning in the academic year 2022–2023 are eligible to apply for a scholarship under this program, which offers awards of up to INR 75,000 per year until the end of the program.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Girls, pupils with disabilities, and transgender students are all welcome.
- A first-year undergraduate degree in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) courses or an undergraduate degree or certification in paramedical sciences, allied health sciences, or vocational-technical education (VTE) are requirements for applicants.
- Candidates must have received at least 60% on their Class 12 exams.
- The candidates’ total yearly family income should not be more than INR 5 lakh.
- No applications will be accepted from relatives of Cognizant, Cognizant Foundation, or Buddy4Study employees.
- Students from all regions of India are eligible.
About the Selection process:
Students are chosen for the “CF Sparkle Inclusive Scholarship Programme for Higher Education” through a multi-stage procedure that takes into account both their academic ability and socioeconomic status. Below are specifics on the selection process:
- Candidates are initially shortlisted based on their academic standing and financial situation.
- Conversation over the phone with the applicants who made the shortlist, then document confirmation.
- A choice made in the end by the scholarship giver.

- CF Sparkle Inclusive Scholarship Programme for Undergraduate STEAM Courses.
- CF Sparkle Inclusive Scholarship Programme for Diploma/Undergraduate Healthcare Courses.
