Eligibility: Only the candidates with valid merit rank (GMR) in the WBJEE-2020 and domiciled in West
Bengal [as per criteria specified by WBJEEB] fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions
as stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board and Govt. of West Bengal in respect of
WBJEE 2020 are eligible for admission.

Application Process:

Eligible and interested candidates may apply through e-mail on or before 06.12.2020 5:00 pm. The
application form attached to this notice should be filled up neatly. The filled up form to be scanned
clearly and sent by e-mail along with WBJEE 2020 Rank Card in a SINGLE PDF file in the e-mail address
“regr.gcelt-wb@gov.in” [regr.gcelt-wb(at)gov.in]on or before 06.12.2020 5:00 pm. The subject
of the e-mail should be “Decentralized admission Application for B Tech 1st year 2020”. Any other
subject will not be accepted.
Applications received after the due date shall not be considered.
Application received through e-mail at “regr.gcelt-wb@gov.in” will only be considered. No other means
of submission shall be considered.

A Merit list based strictly on the order of merit (General Merit Rank) will be published on the college website on
08.12.2020 or 09.12.2020 (tentatively). Candidates will be called from the merit list as per GMR for
admission on 10.12.2020 or 11.12.2020 (tentatively).

Further details will be available with the merit list.
The candidates who will be called for admission must bring filled up application form given with this
notice, with their (original and self-attested photocopy of) WBJEE 2020 Rank card, proof of date of birth,
Mark sheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent (10+2), Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent (10th), proof
of West Bengal domicile (as per WBJEEB format), SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate (if applicable), AADHAR Card
and two copies of a recent colored passport size photo.
During admission, if it is found that there is any discrepancy in information/data between the application
form and the original documents, the candidature is liable to be canceled.
