DECENTRALIZED COUNSELLING AND PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR B.TECH COURSES(1ST YEAR), 2020-21
As per Notification No. 358-Edn(T)/10M-86/15 dated 30.11.2020 of the Department of Higher
Education, Government of West Bengal, applications in the prescribed format are invited through
online from https://forms.gle/ZuzTtL9BHhqVx1JP9 (click here for Provisional Admission form)
from the candidates along with a soft copy of all testimonials (self-attested) listed below for
admission into the B.Tech 1st year against vacant seats of Govt. College of Engg & Textile
Technology, Serampore for the year of 2020-2021 as per following eligibility criteria, within 8th
December 2020, at 11.55 pm.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
a) Participating candidates must be domiciled in West Bengal.
b) Participating candidates besides fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and the terms and
conditions as stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board in respect of the
examination ‘WBJEE-2020’ for admission to any such engineering &technical courses must
have obtained a valid WBJEE -2020 General Merit rank.
c) Allotment shall be made strictly on the basis of WBJEE -2020 General Merit rank and
preference of a candidate.

5.Photocopy of Domicile Certificate: As directed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance

IMPORTANT DATES:
Last date of submission of online application for provisional admission latest by 08.12.2020 till
11.55 pm.
The date for Publication of Provisional Merit List on the website: within 11th December 2020.
Date of Provisional Admission through online mode for the shortlisted candidates: By 13th
December 2020.
Before submitting the online Decentralised Counselling form, attach all the documents properly, and read the instructions of the Google form carefully. Do not use “mobile browsers” for filling up
this online form.
All the uploaded documents should be in proper resolution (readable) preferably scanned in
a computer scanner. Mobile photographs will not be accepted as a valid document, if found to be
unclear/distorted/of low resolution/monochrome/of over or less contrast.
