WBJEE marks are the scores obtained by candidates in all three subjects of the joint entrance exam. The marking scheme of WBJEE specifies the marks distribution over the number of questions in the WBJEE question paper. In order to understand how scores are computed in the WBJEE exam, candidates will have to study the detailed exam pattern.

WBJEE exam pattern comprises three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. While the Mathematics section of WBJEE carries a total of 100 marks against 75 questions, the Physics and Chemistry sections comprise a total of 50 marks against 40 questions in each of the sections.
