About Quiz
Cyberspace is a complex and dynamic environment of interactions among people, software and services supported by worldwide distribution of information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices and networks.
On one hand, cyberspace, which cuts across global boundaries has brought in the latest innovative technologies and modern gadgets, while on the other hand, it has inevitably led to increased dependencies on computer resources and internet-based professional, business and social networking. The exponential increase in the number of internet users in India clubbed with rapidly evolving technologies has also brought in its own unique challenges, besides aggravating the existing problems of misinformation and attempting to disrupt critical information and Information Technology networks.
To felicitate a sense of cyber awareness and cyber security, Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs is running this Quiz, the details of which are mentioned in the succeeding paragraphs.
Successful participants would be provided with a Participation Certificate, which can be downloaded after completion of the Quiz.
The Quiz will be open from 25th January 2022 to 24th February 2022.

एक ओर साइबर स्पेस ने जहां वैश्विक सीमाओं को पार करते हुए नवीन तकनीकों और आधुनिक गैजेट्स को अस्तित्व में लाने का काम किया है, तो वहीं दूसरी ओर इस आधुनिकता ने अनिवार्य रूप से कंप्यूटर संसाधनों और इंटरनेट-आधारित व्यवसाय और सोशल नेटवर्किंग पर हमारी निर्भरता अधिक बढ़ा दी है। तेजी से विकसित हो रही प्रौद्योगिकी के साथ भारत में इंटरनेट उपयोगकर्ताओं की संख्या में निरंतर वृद्धि ने गलत सूचना की मौजूदा समस्याओं को बढ़ाने और महत्वपूर्ण सूचना एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी नेटवर्क को बाधित करने के प्रयास के अलावा अपनी नई चुनौतियों से भी रुबरु कराया है।
साइबर सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुकता बढ़ाने के लिए, भारतीय साइबर अपराध समन्वय केंद्र (I4C), गृह मंत्रालय क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करने जा रहा है, जिसका विवरण अगले पैराग्राफ में दिया गया है।
सफल प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा, जिसे क्विज के पूरा होने के बाद डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है।
क्विज 25 जनवरी, 2022 से लेकर 24 फरवरी, 2022 तक खुला रहेगा।

(MAR) Mandatory Additional Requirement
For every MAKAUT STUDENTS, you have to achieve some mandatory extra points to earn B.Tech, B.Pharm. degree under MAKAUT. This will come under Mandatory Additional Requirements (MAR). Below is a table of the list of the activities and the points that can be achieved by a student in four years, i.e. full course time.
Rules:
- The student should engage herself/himself in activities outside the curriculum. Join different types of Clubs of College, write something for the wall magazine, remain active in outer society, participate in TechFests activities, etc. and report the same to gain MAR points. See the activity list to gain more insight into MAR.
- Submit proof of that activity, like photographs (hard and soft), photocopies of certificates, CDs of videos, etc. to her/his mentor. Send a softcopy as an attachment to the mentor of their college.
- There is “Maximum Points Allowed” in each ‘activity within ‘full course’ and within an ‘academic year’. This means that a student should participate in different activity types and be spread over the full course duration.
- The points earned by the students will be reflected in their mark sheets.
For uniform distribution of MAR activities throughout the entire period of the academic curriculum of a student, the student should earn a minimum of 20 activity points and a maximum of 100 / 75 activity points each year.

Participation in Debate/Group Discussion/ Tech quiz /Quiz /Seminar /Painting /Music-Dance /any Performing Arts workshop – (Max 32 Points)
