Coursera Inc. is an American massive open online course provider founded in 2012 by Stanford University computer science professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller. Coursera works with universities and other organizations to offer online courses, certifications, and degrees in a variety of subjects. According to CNBC “more than 150 universities offered upwards of 4,000 courses through Coursera, which features over two dozen degree programs at prices that are lower than many in-person school offerings.”

As I am a full-time regular student, I don’t have any source of income, I live in xxxxxxxxxx , India. Here the chance of getting a part-time job is difficult, and it consumes too much time to travel from village to city to doing any part-time job. Coursera is a good platform and it provides a certificate that helps me for my B.tech degree, I was in a government college which means that I had free education in my country. I don’t really have money to afford to join top world universities, I had no job and my family income low. But I’ve no job of my own to carry the expenses to pay for the certificate of this course. In this circumstance, it is very much difficult for me to gather such an amount of money for the certificate. Financial Aid will help me take this course without any adverse impact on my monthly essential needs. So I’m badly in need of this financial aid.

How will taking this course help you achieve your career goals?

The course from Coursera help me to get the certificate, which is very important for my b.tech degree, and it helps me to get or transfer of credit. My main career goal is to learn every day. I really want to learn and progress in my career. Engineering requires constant learning and improvement. Taking course XXXX can help me advance in my knowledge. I really want to know as much as I can about XXXXX because it matters to everyone nowadays. To make a difference to people’s minds about XXXXX is one of my goals also so learning and understanding XXXXX will help me achieve it too. Courses on Coursera helped me to greatly increase my XXXXX knowledge in the past. This course will help me a lot to gain knowledge about the current status of XXXXX.
